Satdhara Falls

Satdhara Falls are one of the most popular sightseeing attractions of Dalhousie. Perched at an altitude of 2036 metres above the sea level, the place has derived its name from the seven beautiful springs, which are believed to have several therapeutic values. The reason behind this is said to be the water in these springs, as it comprises of mica, known as 'Gandhak' in local language. The mica has several medicinal properties, which helps in curing many diseases and ailments. In addition, tourists visiting the place can enjoy the natural beauty of the place. Beautiful waterfalls with natural springs nearby, having medicinal properties.

How to Reach

The easiest way to reach the Falls is via Train. Dalhousie does not have a train station of its own, and the nearest station is Pathankot, situated at a distance of 42 kms from Dalhousie. The falls are on the way to Panchpula and are well-connected via all means of local transportation in Dalhousie.
